For some years now I have been singing and playing from the unimaginably large œuvre of Udo Jürgens. The idea came from others: When I performed somewhere as a jazz musician and chansonier, the comparison with Udo Jürgens always came up. One day a good friend persuaded me to try it with Udo Jürgens songs. The success was staggering: the number of clicks on the video of my first performance shot up into the five-digit range on YouTube. A dream rate for an almost fifty-year-old musician from the province!
